A 72 year old is seeking bond from Kilifi law courts after he was charged with five counts of Land fraud, obtaining 35 million shillings by false pretence and impersonation. Daniel Ricci of Italian descent was arrested on Friday at Ganda ward of Malindi following a warrant of arrest issued by the Chief Magistrate Court in Kilifi on March 6. The warrant of arrest was issued after the tycoon skipped court since November 15 2024. He denied the charges leveled against him and the prosecution filed an affidavit opposing his application for bond citing he was a flight risk. Ricci was charged on two counts as an agent of the seller Gala Holdings limited with intent to defraud Ravina Beach Gardens.
