Entrepreneurs with disabilities in Kajiado County are struggling to start and grow their businesses due to a lack of capital and widespread societal stigma. At a recent youth forum aimed at empowering persons with disabilities, entrepreneurs voiced their frustrations, highlighting the extra effort required to gain acceptance and prove their capabilities. However, hope is on the horizon through the intervention of Riziki Source, a nonprofit organization providing much-needed support. The organization equips entrepreneurs with disabilities with essential resources, training, and tools to help them overcome barriers and succeed in their businesses.
