The family of Abdullahi Issa Ibrahim, a Kenyan soldier who was taken captive by Somalia-based terror group Al Shabaab has come out to speak after a video of their kin appealing for help surfaced online two days ago. In the viral video, Abdullahi says he was among kenya defence forces soldiers who were taken captive on 15 January 2016, when Al Shabaab militants overran their camp in El Adde Somalia. The family of the Wajir-born soldier that lives in Eldoret had presumed their father dead and even obtained a death certificate before he called home a month ago to the surprise of everyone.
