Isiolo residents heckle and jeer President Ruto during his visit

After a largely peaceful four-day visit in the North Eastern counties of Mandera, Garissa and Wajir, Isiolo’s tour ended up being contrary to President William Ruto's expectations after he faced difficulties addressing the residents. Efforts to calm down the crowd failed, despite attempts by local leaders including environment CS Aden Duale and Governor Abdi Guyo proved futile. The president seemed to lose hope and abruptly ended his speech after loud youths refused to give him a chance to speak.
