Kwale County has made significant strides in healthcare with the recent commissioning of a state-of-the-art newborn unit at Msambweni County Referral Hospital. Speaking at the launch of the facility Kwale Governor Fatuma Achani highlighted the importance of the new unit in addressing healthcare challenges faced by newborns in the county. This collaborative effort between M-Pesa Foundation and Kwale County Government intends to provide specialized medical care to newborns, particularly those born prematurely or requiring advanced medical attention.
