A High Court advocate Jane Nyaboke has challenged political parties to ensure gender equality and give women powers to make party decisions if the country is to attain gender parity. Nyaboke said unless parties embrace gender inclusivity in their operations ahead of the 2027 general elections, the gender threshold will still remain far-fetched. She also emphasized that any Kenyan is entitled to run for elective post be either presidential or mp as long they qualify to run for the seat. She urged political parties to involve more women in the UDA-ODM pact decision-making.
