Over 400 residents of Chaani suburb in Mombasa County have benefitted from free eye care, courtesy of the Focus Container Freight Station (CFS). The eye clinic, organized in collaboration with the Lions Medical Eye and Laser Centre, was set up to help vulnerable residents suffering from various eye ailments. Speaking during the exercise, Lions Club Mombasa Vice Governor Inderjeet Main noted that while many patients required reading glasses, others with cataracts would be referred for advanced surgeries. The Area Chief urged the residents to register with the Social Health Authority for continued medical support.
