Two years ago a peace deal was signed ending the Tigray conflict, one of Africa’s deadliest in modern times. The war – which raged from 2020 to 2022 - was fought between the central government and its allies on one side and Tigrayan forces on the other. But besides the progress made, Ethiopia is still not at peace. In the country’s north-western Amhara region another conflict is raging and in Tigray itself, the impact of the war still lingers on in the form of unexploded ordnance which is killing or injuring hundreds of civilians each year. We hear from a teenager whose dreams of becoming a farmer were ended after he stepped on unexploded ordnance a year ago. #bbcfocusonafrica #focusonafrica #tigraynews Subscribe: http://bit.ly/subscribetoafrica Website: https://www.bbc.com/africa Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/bbcnewsafrica/ Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/bbcafrica/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/bbcafrica/
