The Ministry of Agriculture has flagged off 20,000 metric tons of fertilizer to be distributed to farmers across the country. While flagging off the consignment at the Port of Mombasa, the Secretary of Administration in the State Department of Agriculture Harun Khator said the Government is collaborating with the National Cereals and Produce Board , to ensure farmers have timely access to essential inputs for the planting season.
