Transparency International Kenya calls to ensure a transparent and credible electoral process

Transparency International Kenya, the Centre for multiparty democracy, and the Elections Observation Group have highlighted critical concerns on the progress of electoral reforms, public participation, and the integrity of the vetting of the IEBC commissioners, with the 2027 general election on the horizon, these groups are calling for urgent action to ensure a transparent and credible electoral process which includes a push for the legislature to fast-track the NADCO recommendations on electoral financing to avoid the possibility of public resources misuse for personal campaigns.
