The Ministry of Information Communications and the Digital Economy has been challenged to revitalize the Ajira Digital Program to fulfil its objective of addressing youth unemployment through digital jobs. A survey conducted by Friedrich Naumann Foundation and Siasa Place Kenya in three counties namely Mombasa Homa Bay and Kakamega shows roll-out of the program is facing some challenges among them lack of modern equipment to facilitate training.
