Ilikuwa mara ya kwanza kwa wakulima kutangaziwa bonasi ya shilingi milioni 150. Tangazo hilo liliibua hisia mseto kutoka kwa viongozi, wakulima na wenyeji wa magharibi mwa kenya ambako kuna wakulima wanaonufaika na kiwanda cha Mumias.
