The county government of Kwale has initiated strategies to improve the infrastructure of the Lunga Lunga port located on the border of Kenya and Tanzania to grow trade and economy in the area. While launching the repair of the Ziwani - Lunga Lunga market road, Kwale Governor Fatuma Achani urged the residents to collaborate with the county government in efforts to upgrade the town emphasizing that the town’s improvement would stimulate the county’s economy through trade.
